Site Policies

Some links on FloorTone are affiliate links — currently those pointing to Krisp via our /go/ redirect paths. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Three commitments govern this:

• Every affiliate link is disclosed where it appears — in the banner or paragraph around it, not buried here alone. This page is the summary, not the hiding place.
• Coverage is not for sale. Vendors don't see drafts, don't pay for placement, and can't buy a conclusion. Where we link a vendor we have no affiliate relationship with (Sanas, for example), we label that too.
• We recommend free things on purpose. Our cornerstone advice — baseline your platform's built-in suppression before buying anything — earns us nothing. If our incentives ever visibly bend a recommendation, hold us to this paragraph.

FloorTone is a static website. We don't run accounts, comments, newsletters or forms, so we have no database of you at all. We use a standard web-analytics tool to see aggregate traffic (which pages are read, roughly from where); if you block analytics, the site works identically and we lose nothing we're entitled to. We set no advertising trackers and sell no data — there's nothing to sell.

When you click through to any vendor's site (including via our /go/ links), that vendor's own privacy policy takes over. Affiliate networks may set a cookie on the vendor's side so a purchase can be attributed; that mechanism lives with them, not on this site.

The plain-language version, which is also the binding version:

• Information, not professional advice. We publish operational guidance about call-center audio software and policy. It is not legal, financial, employment or medical advice; policy templates (like our household-noise clause) are starting points for your own counsel to review.
• Accuracy is dated. Vendor prices, plans and features are verified on the date printed beside them and can change the day after. Always confirm current terms on the vendor's site before purchasing.
• Use at your own judgment. We're not liable for decisions made from this content. You know your floor; we don't.
• Content is ours. Text and original materials on this site belong to FloorTone. Excerpts are fine when you credit us and link back; lifting whole pages is not. The defect-code scheme and policy templates are explicitly free to adopt inside your organization.
• External links are conveniences, not endorsements of everything a linked site says or sells.

Team bylines only; no invented personas. Docs-based claims with printed verification dates; vendor marketing numbers are always attributed to the vendor. Computed figures ship with their scripts. Mistakes get fixed visibly, with the update date changed. The longer version of how we work lives on the about page.

Corrections and feedback are welcome — the site's contact address is published in the site metadata once the domain's mail is live. If a price on any page has drifted from a vendor's live site, that's exactly the mail we want.
